If you had the money to buy a console + 2 games. What would you buy? And Why?

I have both I know forsure xbox 360 > ps3.

what kind of games do you like?
are you willing to pay for online play?
do you have a nice HDtv?
although 360 may have more fans now, in 1 year many of the real ps3 games will be out, and the tides will turn.

i dont see the point in getting an xbox, any good game that 360 has you can get for the computer. and it will play and look better on a computer than it does on 360.

imo get a wii right now and wait 6 months and pick up a ps3
blu-ray > HD dvd,
blu-ray sells in europe 3:1 to HD dvd, and in the us they sell more blu-ray movies than hd movies, but more hd stand alone players than blu-ray stand alone players.

Research the type of games available.

Ps3 has better graphics + different games.


I like how 360 is setup + the controller better.

I would take Xbox 360. Much cheaper and the only big difference between them is the blu-ray on ps3, right ? So yea definately Xbox 360.

I personally like 360 better, because of the look,type of controller, and choice in games.

360 = $299
360 w/ hd dvd player = 299+179
ps3 = $399

theres a $100 difference and you get a blu-ray player. not really much cheaper is it, especially when you compare them as similar products, ie both with HD/Blu players.



and both of those are on PC

Bioshock is vista only correct?

Yeah I am gonna research what games are out for each and what will be coming.
