About the new movie, look for the trailer that has the English Sub-titles. The words in the Japanese Version are alot better. The U.S. has a nasty habit of always fucking up the actual words that are said.
Well maybe 90% was a bit of an exaggeration but for me they were most of the time completely rushed, no story and just action... it was like they tried to cramp what they'd normally do in 10-20 episodes into a 40-80 minute long episode
I didn't like A-13 or the Cooler movies; Broly was just ok for me, I enjoyed the first DBZ ovas more (Garlick, Slug, Tree of Might, that one where a mad scientist's brain wants to take over the world's strongest warrior, etc), the one with the dude that plays the Ocarina (Tapion I think he was called?), was ok too. Have you seen the unofficial movie they release last year about Bardok? That was pretty good imo.
I really liked the tv specials about Trunk's future and the destruction of Plantet Vegeta, but those are tv specials rather than OVAs, so they don't count.
And yes, I'm aware the US dub is bad, it's just that I saw way too many different battles in the trailer, which means it's probabaly going to be rushed and have a weak story once again, unless they make it specially long. Honestly, if they had made most of the other moves an hour longer they could have been much better.
