Superman did die. And it wasn't through the green rock, Doomsday literally beat the shit out of superman until S-man literally just died.

Goku died when he was weaker, often he comitted suicide to kill someone else. Even when facing someone stronger than him goku never died from literally being beaten to death. Totally setting x4 aside, even if goku were x1 he would win pretty easily.

first of all, goku is more of an suped up martial artist, and superman is more of a bar fighter
so technically if we brought it down to human levels, its like Jet Li vs Vin Diesel, in all respect Jet Li would kick anyones ass
