Dragonball was definitely much more engaging for anyone who is actually paying attention to what is happening, I overall enjoyed it a lot more. But Dragonball Z has something about it that nothing else has and if the filler was removed it would probably be my all time favorite anime. I bet it would be pretty easy to edit out all of the filler parts which are only noise/powering up etc without affecting anything at all. Someone should do that, even if it makes every episode 10 minutes long :)

DB Kai kinda does that, but it's not exactly what it could/should have been
