Everyone simply saying Samsung *smh*. No wonder they're market leaders in the TV industry. Anyways, find the best value TV is way harder in 2015 than it was before 2013, when Plasma TVs were alive (and well?). Panasonic's ST series mid range plasmas cost less than equivalent mid range LED TVs, yet performed than almost any high end LED TV from Samsung, Vizio, Sharp, LG, etc.

The only exception were the obscenely expensive back-lit with local dimming high end models from Sony and Philips (HX-9XX series and 97xx series respectively if I'm not mistaken)

Then there was Samsung's budget 720p plasmas which beat competing LEDs in every single aspect (contrast, colours, black level, motion resolution, response time etc..) but "only" had 720p resolution... Which no one would notice unless they

A ) sat way too close to the screen

or

B ) were told by the owner that what they were watching was only 720p.

That being said I personally find the Sony W605 and W705 to be some of the best bang for buck TVs of 2015:

full objective analysis of the performance can be found here:

But then again, judging by said tests/analysis this particular Samsung set seems like an even better deal:
