Just got into this in a thread called The Rap Sucks Thread. Fuck it, I'll just paste what I posted in there.

"Rap is a broad genre. Alot of people fail to realize this completely, thanks a massive amount to modern radio.
When people here "rap", they think Soulja Boy, Lil' Jon and whoever the fuck else took over the mainstream recently.
There's alot more to rap than what you here on the radio; what gets slapped in everyones faces all over the media; what you hear thumping in the car next to you at the stop light.

You have to dig deeper. Start with independant searching if you actually want to discover rap with with a structure suitable to your tastes.

By the way, rap @ rock are very broad genres with tons of sub categories. Doesn't sound like you have much of a preference. You said good song. So, here.
