You may not buy it, but others will. You say a lot won't, but those people went to WoW anyway.

WoW may be the worst game in your opinion, but when it crushes the collective online population of Call of Duty 4, Halo 3, and other such notable titles, I'd disagree.

We're talking 10.5 million people here. Not the 150 of your e-friends and RL friends who said they don't like it.

I play both, and love both. I would pay for Diablo Online just because it's Diablo Online.

Due to the large fanbase that Diablo II still holds I think it would be financially irresponsible to "never" release it. Of course it will take time and will be quite different from the past Diablo's as the original development team has left Blizzard and gone to Flagship (maybe? Not 100% on the name).

Diablo III or Diablo Online whatever the case may be will more than likely require a subscription fee but whining about ~$15 a month is very juvenille. Paying monthly fees means the games content is subject to change via patches.. in WoW's case mutiple instances and items that have been added through the years.


All in all I feel that eventually Diablo III will come.

I am no Psychic, but I think it will depend on how well the new Starcraft hits off.

I agree on pretty much everything. I just think it'd be irresponsible for them to not bring out Diablo Online because along with sales purchases, they'd have subscriber fees and be making just so much more money. The market appeal is there, so I just see them doing that. They already have Starcraft 2 coming out, and that's a sequel. I think they'll revert back to an RPG, realize the potential profit, and release Diablo Online .

$15 a month is so little for potentially so much fun, there's no reason to not pay it. Plus it keeps the servers running pretty damn well, and keeps the door open for expansions and such.

I pay for many games, and still have plenty of money for other things. Like my house. My 2 cars. My truck. My girlfriend. Beer. Food. Trips to Germany and Prague for concerts.

Teens should have jobs. And if you can't scrounge up $15 a month your family is poor and you shouldn't be on the computer.
I would rather pay $15 a month for one game I enjoy that updates than buy a new game every month for $50+ that I get bored of and forget about it.
