You'd think by now people would realize how inevitably stupid and pointless these threads are. Everyone has different opinions, and they're entitled to them. There is no universal "best guitarist", it varies from person to person. There is no "better guitarist" since it's completely related to how one interprets and connects to that person's music.

So, realize this when you try to authoritatively tell someone that the guitarist you like is better than the guitarist they like.

They are all talented beyond belief at playing guitar, but its hard to compare them as their styles are mostly different.

Slash and Tom Morello are both good, but in my opionion not quite the same lvl of talent.

Jimi Hendrix is probaly more well known, but I think Van Halen is MUCH better, listen to Eruption and enjoy.

Hendrix of course........

Question is kind of vague though.... especially since each one had their own certain style.
