i loved Fable

i love the old snes rpg's ( even still got one at home )

but you forgot some jewels (poll)

1. Lufia 2 - Rise of the Sinistrals

2. Final Fantasy VI ( // 3)

3. Secret of Mana (Seiken Denetsu) 2 and 3

4. Terranigma

5. Chrono Trigger

6. Star Ocean

7. Tales of Phantasia

and last but not least Zelda - A Link to the Past (it's not a real rpg in my eyes but still mentionable)

suidoken is nice

If mmorpgs are a different category than single player, then there is no question that the prize belongs to Final Fantasy VII. Second might be Castlevania SOTN imho.
