Thanks for all of the recommendations everyone!

Here is a question for avid gamers:

I recently read somewhere that the maximum refresh rates for the XB1 and PS4 is only 60 Hz, and any tv over that has no effect. Can anyone confirm this?

I own a 52" samsung smart TV

Cons
I strongly don't recommend a Samsung smart TV, the remote controls are delayed, especially so when used in its smart TV apps. It got very annoying very quickly The delays are about 3 seconds so it is quite severe and it doesnt even have dvi input, just the HDMI

Pros
On the bright side the Tv image is clear and sharp.

Overall, the TV is nice, the smart feature is denitiely its own downfall. Wouldn't recommend a smart TV
