CD's are of highest sound-quality, next to Vinyl's today. Keep them.
And if you think that CD's don't have a resale value... Well, it depends on what you own.
My collection consists of 184 albums (+-), and I could easily sell them again for 2k++ USD, and I've payed less myself.
At least rip all of them in Aiff, WAV or flac, so you always have them in an acceptable quality.

Hey, do you guys still listen to your cds in a cd player? Now days, im always listening to my stuff on ipods or the pc
which is hooked to the stereo. And i never hardly use my cd player anymore.
Do you keep your cds or not?

Also, let me know of a place to sell cds at.
A place that buys in bulk would be nice.

DONT SELL!

They are not worth... NOW. They will be worth a lot in the future, it will happen the exact same thing it happened to Vinil discs. They will be collectors items, and will go for a huge lot of money. My father has the entire collection of the beatles albums in Vinil, he was offered more than 2k on it already, and he didnt sell. imagine 10 years from now, you guess it.

CD dont have a shelf life like records do. Do to the way they are made, they will deteriorate over time, and after about 20-30 years the cds wont work anymore.

sell while you can, cause you wont be able to use them in a couple decades, and then they'll be coasters at best.

in three hundred years they will be worth 200 dollars per cd :)

with a yearly inflation of 2%: everything in 300 years costs 380 times more than today. so 200 dollar in 300 years would be the same as 53 cent today :) so you need 10 cd's to buy a hot dog xD
