i think dragonball is also considered as anime,
but anime now is totally different from what it was back then.

im a big dragonball fan
i once downloaded, in a period of 2 months,
every f*ckin episode from dragonball to dragonball z to dragonball gt...
now, i live in Belgium,
where its like impossible to buy a episode pack or somethin.
u can find some 12 episodes dvd's from a japanese anime-shop,
there are like a couple in Belgium.
there is one in Antwerp, where i live,
Dragonstore.
i saw a couple dvd's of dragonball z
so i asked,
if it was possible to order everything on dvd,
from dragonball to dragonball Z to GT...
they said, hmm... i can get it in original language, without subs,
but if u want original language and dutch subbed, u wont find it. Or english dubbed with dutch subbed.
i was hmmm... should i say it or not... so i did, i said i had the whole pack from the beginning to the end on my hdd, but english subbed, without subtitels... he was like : "omfg!!! pls gimmi ure hdd, i pay u money for it, and this and that
"
i said no, u do some research, try to find out if u can fix me the whole shit on DVD with english dubbed (i liked the american version) and dutch subbed. U sell it to me for the price u bought it, and u make copies of it, and keep the copies.
he really did it
he had some connections in asia, some nephew in asia who had a similar shop, they knew some dudes in the media-industry, and so on.
and bla bla bla, so he made some connection with a retired worker of a tv station, who had all the rights on the american subbed version, who also sold the episodes to a belgium tv channel (kanal2), subbed with dutch, but because the episodes are practically sacked by everyone, i mean no tv station want to buy it anymore to show it, so it wont be expensive
so anyways,
a week later, the guy from the store called me back, and he said : "dude dude, i got great news, i can get the whole collection on DVD, American version with dutch subtitles"
i was like : "omfg, thank goddddd!!!"
im not gonna say how much or less i payed for it,
but omfg, that collection is my pride.
all this time and money,
while i had everything on hdd,
but i was like,
naaah, they deserved it.
