Based on Lord Tennyson's poem about the charge of the Light Brigade in the Crimean War. Look it up. Great song as well as it shud give u enuf to write about!
Other wise there's Iron Maiden's Paschendale from the Dance of Death Album, or the entire X-Factor and A Matter of Life and Death Albums. Both refer to wars, one to the vietnam one and the other to the Iraq/Afghanistan ones.
