This is a tool assisted run of DooM2's final map "Icon of sin"
tool assisted in this case means no part was played by a human,
35 times in a second the "doomplayer" gets to know what to do
by the programmer of the run

it is the first time this map was completed with only using pistol
(each other map was done pistol only before)

it took about 1 month to create this run

true, non-tas and even tas looks quite easy to do, but it isn't especially with this high quality of speedrunning (both runs shouldn't be doable with a second less)

i DL for my xbox and took me 2 days to beat..

i remember playing this all day everyday when i was in Jr. High.. computer class

Wow zdaemon is awesome! Sucks that nobody is ever playing in the free rooms though. Ill just hang in one and hope people join. Are there many people hacking/exploiting/cheating in this game? If not i would seriously think of paying to play on the pay servers.

I am not sure what you mean with free rooms, I think you mean servers which run with
freedoom or the doom freeware version...
well doom2 is much more popular and if people play doom, then (at least) the registered version

but if you want, PM me time and server, I will join

I am playing at zdaemon for about 3-4 years now, I havn't seen a single cheater, although I am playing a lot,
there is also a official ban list http://master.zdaemon.org/bans/ (some because of cheating)

hacking... imo could be hacking a positive and a negative verb :), there are a lot of mods of doom, but
zdaemon ingame I havn't seen someone who hacked into the game
