they arent hardcore thats forsure hardcore sux. their 1st cd was so great they could only go downhill ( which they did) having chavo sing was the worst idea ever.

just so u know Shavo is the bass player, and Daron the guitarist is the one who does the secondary vocals now. i had thier first album back in 1998 when it first came out(the girl i was dating got a tip from some guy on the internet about them so we went out and bought the album which was hard to find at the time) and it rocked but i do have to agree they went downhill but i really enjoyed the mezmorize cd, im not really sure why it just has a good feel to it, but the first will always be thier greatest work

i love em' but my favorite album with SOAD is toxicity for sure
