Just started, bored of wow and wanted to try something new. I've only played to level 4 before (I know right....). Playing Priest. Any pointers for a complete noob? If I buy a mount from store at early level can I use it instantly? Are mounts hard to get? Anything like wow crafting? Etc. What level is first dungeon, etc.

You'll get a basic mount once you get out of the island of dawn(the intro area) from a quest. Other than that, you're likely to buy a mount from the broker. Once you hit 20, you can start getting into instances and use that to level up. Or you can find specific mobs to grind to level up as well(usually BAMs)

Rather than buy a mount, buy a month of elite. You'll net double EXP and a free mount, plus consumables every day.

You can then also skip the entire starting area and find someone to power level you to 20(takes half an hour maybe?), then go right into dungeons.

once you have 15k gold buy 30 day elite voucher from broker. its really worth it.
one step i regret is that i didnt buy a tera game code for bank slots, char slots etc.

The hard copy of Tera is a really good purchase. Bought mine for $10 and got lots of things that would be well worth over $10. I would highly suggest having 100% quest gold boost on for your 60-65 main quests. You can net over 9000 gold
