hello! i played tera when it launched but because of work i didnt have much time to get far in the game but i kinda wanna get back into it now. i have a few questions though

-is the community big and active?
-how is character customization? (armor/weapons, skill variety, etc)
-how is PVP?
-are there special PVE areas? (not the main story line)

what I am not looking for:

-level grinding
-generic quests, for example, kill X number of pigs/find X number of pig tails/ bring them back and be rewarded 3000xp and 500g
-no replay value

community is big and active.
As for character customization, there are glyphs which are like runes from d3, they add bonuses onto those skills but you are limited to a certain amount. Can't say too much about gear except pre 65, you'll be using avatar weapon 99% of the time.
Level does take a little bit to grind out and the quests are mostly generic. You can level yourself up by PVPing via battlegrounds which unlock at level 30 but most quests are generic.

You can say people take an easy route buying/enchanting awakened endgame gear by swiping their credit card. But at the end of the day they'll have the same gear as someone who didn't pay a cent and played the game.

Honestly though from what I've seen in my 2 years playing, people (swipers) who bought their way into endgame gear faster weren't that great at the game. Pay2getrektanyway.

/e Once you reach levelcap I do recommend getting the subscription though, double dungeon runs, gift boxes, Village Atlas that lets you teleport to any town/city, double credits/gold boost. Too convenient to pass up.
