I've been playing quite alot in the past few weeks and here is what i think after ~5 days of playtime.
First up the good things:
- Some of the fights are really cool, first time BAMs (Big-Ass Monsters) are awesome
- Decent graphics
- Level/Stat progression feels good
So the very 'core' gameplay is solid in that way but there are many many bad sides to the game.
First up the good (on a technical level) graphics are hindered by very lackluster design in 70% of the world and
the fact that quite alot of assets get recycled like crazy which is especially dumb when it comes to monsters.
The quest system is at a bare minimum which means you get to a hub, take 5 quests, run a circle arround the hub and kill 8 mobs each.
Rinse and repeat for every other quest hub.
Performance wise the game is doing horrible which seems to trace back mostly to a bad coded UI.
The game is missing polish in general, flying gathering nodes, misplaced textures, bugs, rubberbanding and so on.
So it can be fun if you dig the fighting mechanics and/or have some friends to play with.
Other than that there is no harm in trying.
Jsp wise you can stick to one of the bigger servers (not sure which one though) and the only thing you really sell is gold
but dont expect to make any fg until you hit 60 which takes roughly 40-50 ingame hours.
When you hit 60 you have differen methods to get gold which are basically dailies, dungeons, bam farming, solo instance farming and the nexus (roughly daily event)
5-10k gold daily is doable solo.
