For leveling jobs does it require people to get on my account or just to party with me?

Also what is the current gold:fg ratio for this server.

Starting again and it's not easy/fun soloing as a Sorcerer xD

Typically gold to FG is around 1:8 or 1:10. I have 20k you can buy if interested.

Best way to level is just quest, quests give more EXP than anything else in that game unless you can solo BAMs at a decent pace. (Meaning you know all their moves and don't make mistakes and get 1 shot). Keep yourself charmed up at all times and it makes it easy. Buy the best weapon every chance you get. Should be lots of +6 - +9 weapons every few levels for a few gold.

gold is actually 1:10-15, can easily find it on here for those prices. sorc is very easy to level with, not sure what youre doing. havent played since recent major update though. leveling jobs would be on your account and it is not worth the price

Leveling is pretty easy damn easy as sorc once you get fireblast. They're the 3rd, possible second with reduced hailstorm lvl and shared fireblast base glyph, fastest leveler. There's no real way to power level in Tera with the exception of getting max lvl & glyphed power/priest buffs and having a priest spam self heal to aggro mobs. You still have to do all the killing. At lvl 55 you can have 60s kill bams while you leach xp but that's about it. Your best bet is to just do the story quests and yellows that are convenient/easy/high xp yield or whenever you run out of stories. There are a few spots where you can leash a lot of mobs together for really high xp/hr rates and if it hasn't been fixed yet, infinite minion spawning dragoons. Glyph for lightning trap powerlink fireblast, burst of celerity attack speed, fireblast cast speed and you're all set. You don't even have to glyph for shared fireblast anymore.

The easiest high dps sorc combo @ 60 is:

Lightning trap cancel -> overchannel -> celerity -> fireblast -> hailstorm -> arcane pulse -> void pulse -> ice needle -> magma bomb -> flaming barrage -> mana infusion -> flaming barrage -> painblast -> lightning trap cancel -> overchannel -> fireblast -> arcane pulse -> void pulse -> ice needle -> magma bomb then repeat.

Combo requires at least 8% attack speed on weapon and a 4% attack speed necklace. As far as sorc gear goes you want .04 crit damage rolls on all rollable jewelry. For PvE get double boss damage modifier on your weapon at lvl 60, double normal monster damage while leveling, 1 attack speed, 1 back damage modifier. For armor double boss damage reduction, enraged dmg reduction and increased healing effects.

Forgot: the combo above requires a Ranger's Nostrum III as well for cooldown reduction.
