yes there is.
you get free trial passes to give to friends when you purchase it.

Only people who get that is people who bought the tangible copy. like 90% of Tera bought the digital downloads, so don't get the free trial passes. Odds are slim you will find one, and even slimmer that the person hasn't already given them away.

I bought both physical CE, and digital CE, and I don't have guest passes. The support section on EME's site said there's no free trial period / refer a friend program atm.
Where are you guys seeing this at?

The only trial codes I have were for specifically for the headstart beta weekend.

I've seen people advertise that they were selling a trial pass in LFG before, so I can only assume it's obtained somehow.

Afin d’inviter votre ami à jouer à TERA avec vous, suivez les instructions suivantes :

- Vous aurez besoin d’un compte actif (standard ou collector), connectez-vous à celui-ci via le système de gestion de compte sur notre site.
- Cliquez sur le bouton « Inviter un ami » et entrez l’adresse e-mail de celui-ci (vous aurez 1 invitation à distribuer !)

- Notez que cette adresse e-mail ne doit être liée à aucun compte (bêta, accès anticipé) afin de pouvoir recevoir ce code.


- Votre ami recevra un e-mail qui l’invitera à vous rejoindre ! Celui-ci devra simplement créer un compte avec la même adresse e-mail et valider le code. Ce compte sera affiché en tant que TAF (« tell-a-friend ») et pourra ainsi vous rejoindre en jeu après avoir complété le téléchargement.

TRANSLATION :

In order to invite a friend to play TERA with you, follow the following instructions:

-You'll need an active account(Normal or CE), connect to it by the management system on our site
-Click on the "Invite a friend" button and enter your friend's email adress
