This looks epic.. is it really worth it?

D3 has me really bummed out on the graphics and stuff

IMO it's not very worth it, not for what it has for now anyways. The game is extremely repetitive and sprites are re-used to the maximum, the music as well. It's sad when the soundtrack has like 10 pieces and the game has been in development for such a long time. PvP is a complete joke because you can jump into almost any surface and you are animation locked like hell.

The story is meh and it's extremely linear. There's very little to do right now at level 60.

It may or may not get better, but quite a few are guesstimating that this game will die in 2~3 months. Also, the servers are kind of whacky at the moment too.

I would say it's not worth its price tag at this precise moment, but this may change when more content becomes available.

the combat system is novel and youll enjoy it for a while. Eventually, you realize it takes little skill because everything moves so slowly, you couldnt possible miss anyway. The only real skill in the game is using your invuln frame dodges to get out of what you need to and even then thats only on a few classes.

Good stuff to know I was also curious to see if this was worth the buy, considering it's a hack/slash MMO. So not much end game content? Pve is too easy? Quests pretty boring? Any special instances like WoW, and are there many? And lastly, is it open world and large like WoW?

P.S I was deciding to play this instead of D3 on the side with friends.

yeah pretty much.

Oh well. At least it helps limit my choices. lol. Now to play d3 with friends or WoW. WoW is sooo casual thoughh.

Just wait for Guild Wars 2.

not much end game content, right now 2 new dungeons and the hard mode versions. pve is really easy. quest system is one of the worst ive been through. no raids, planned to add them, but that wont be fo a while. It is a large open world though.

Like the guy said above I'll just wait for Gw2. I heard good things about it, heard it's also open world unlike the first GW. Looking forward to that game for an MMO.

Clearly you didn't hear the parts about using ranged weapons and just backpeddling and being able to kill anything in the game.
