Right, you say that but it is plainly obvious that you just want to be like a usual GW2 fanatic, which you are, by plugging GW2 into every other games discussion and threads.

If jsp had a view all posts option it would be painfully obvious how much just shove gw2 around.

well, I admit the game looks great grapich wise, gameplay wise.

I haven't got the opportunity to try the game myself, so just wanted to ask what put TERA aside from GW2.

but it's true that I love GW2, but TERA looks intresting .

just trying to start a conversation why you like TERA over GW2 :)

Both games look amazing and I'm excited for both.

Tera has actual unit collision based combat, gw2 is just standard mmo in that you target and press a button and the skill hits if you are in range. Their Dodge mechanic just makes you immune for a second while teras is much more important.

What I really like about gw2 is the removal of the trinity, makes hard mode dungeons and pvp very interesting.

I will be playing both games. They both innovate the genre and I hope both succeed, while games like tor need to fail to avoid further stagnation.

^ this, though I'm looking a bit more forward to Tera's open world pvp and having no factions.

This isn't the compare and contrast tera and gw2 thread.

GW2 has the same thing as well. Both games have a really cool WvW mechanic.

My protein shake is so watered down. Who is buying me some new powder?

My face when I browse forums related to other games on jsp other than D2:

you can actually cast spells and abilities without targeting someone, so it's not exactly the same combat system as in WoW etc :)

and dodge is rather important, you can 1v1 a boss and kill it if your good at dodging, there is a video bout that somewhere..

You can cast some spells etc in WoW without targetting either, Arcane Explosion is an example. ;)

Obviously there are going to be some outliers in any example.

Yes every class has a dodge and every weapon an escape mechanism so some bosses can be solo'd, same with tera so I don't see your point here. Again there are outliers, not every boss will be able to be solo'd, in fact I know that hard mode bosses just won't have that option.
