The whole game is very similar to wow.

I mean this game IS wow, just that the combat system is slightly different / better than wow's.

I haven't played, but from the videos I have seen this game is nothing like WoW.

Ya this is completely false.

The quests on the beginning island suck though, and actually many of.the quests are generic "filler" quests. The quests that have a red question mark are the main story quest and have voice acting and cinematics.

The generic quests are actually industry wide thing though, every single mmo has them.

And you're wrong, not every single MMO has a system where you're constantly running back and forth between npcs, there are better ways of completing quests than having to run for 20 minutes back to town only to return to the same spot and then back to town again.

I also said that tera's combat system was better than wow's, yet you said it was "completely false"......

Hate to break it to you, but yes, every mmo has generic quests. Whether they are the main source of leveling or not, they are there.

And if you would have actually read Grief's post, you would have seen that you don't even have to do those quests. The main storyline is based around the "red" quests which are typically far more interesting.

Saying the game is too similar to wow after you "played through 3 quests in the beta..." is a joke. Holy crap this game has a character creation where I can make a human!?!? WOW CLONE!!!!

Get serious or get lost. This game is nothing like wow other than the fact that it is an MMO. If being an MMO makes it too much like WoW, then it looks like you shouldn't play mmos.

This is the full statement that you said. You did not simply say that Tera has better combat.
When taking the whole statement instead of choosing a few words out of it, the statement indeed ends up being false because the game is NOT wow with a better combat system.
The game is not wow at all, therefore making the entire statement false.

I hadn't been keeping up with this thread much and the first thing I saw when I came back was some guy saying that Tera is WoW.... I simply couldn't ignore that lol
