My opinion so far.

Quests are the standard, you cannot really change the quest setup.

The way you do them though, is so much better.


I like my elin sorc, made an elin priest on the other server because arch is down atm.

Keep in mind you are in the starter area.

The red quests are the main story quest, and have cinematics and some voice acting.

The story seems to get darker as you go on, and if you are getting overleveled you can skip the yellow quests.

im level 11 in the main city now.

voice overs are good but... lip synching is damn near impossible.

only 13 but done for tonight, by disconnect at level 10 made it impossible to quest. Hundreds of people on the same quests everywhere.

Might try again after 1am my time.

Made it to lvl 21 on my berserker, prob could've made it to 22 but didn't wanna stay up to do it. Will def hit 22 tomorrow and be instancing a lot.

is the quests pretty much like every mmo?

does it have a dragging story line?

is it polished enough?

whe is it out?

You cannot change questing, it always amounts to "DO SHIT, GET PAID". how you do it and how much it stimulates is so much better than anything else because of the free target combat.

I think you are from the SWToR subfroum, so lets put it this way. Instead of spending money and time on how you get or hand in the quest, all effort was put into how you do them.

It is polished, have not run into a bug yet. However invisible walls prevent you from getting where you should not go (up mountains) or where you could end up stuck or probably dead (off the world).

Graphics are pretty stellar with the requirements, but I need to know how to force Anti Aliasing without having to use that "blur the living shit out of everything" graphics option in the game. It is supposed to make it look better but I disabled it in Rift, SWToR and not Tera because it looks bad to me, and usually degrades performance more than anti aliasing.


And a google search will reveal it is out May 1st.

I'm not from the SWToR forums, I'm a Guild Wars 2 fanboy..

I just like the way dynamic events is implented instead of the usual quest system every mmo got.



try and watch this, it pretty much shows how the event system will work

But I must admit, the way you combat in TERA looks interesting.
