Yeah, closed beta and insider testing are two different things. The whole point of the current closed beta is for gaming media coverage and feedback. Bug testing is almost entirely covered by insiders.

Those "casuals" that he is raging so hard about happen to have 100k+ to millions of followers. Their purpose in the beta is being carried out pretty damn well, I'd say.

I know the game has massive polish, http://www.guildwars2guru.com/forum/guild-wars-2-mass-info-t25557.html is basically the entirety of whats known about the game thus far (In terms of what can be released because of the NDA)

"The Press" is the equivalent to your basic 4hour a week gamer, basically horribles that good players faceroll with their eyes closed. The press event was basically just a PR move, although who knows if it was worth unveiling what they had or not, Ive read more negative feedback than positive, but maybe I just play with cynical gamers >D

And no rage here, gate, I just know a rand when I see it. Of course they have over a million followers, do you know how many people go out and spend 50 bucks on every knew mmo that comes out and quit a month later because the game wasnt what they expected? Ii've played MMO's long enough to know that more players do it than players who don't do it. Another reason its such a huge hit is because its F2P, and with F2P games comes F2P players.

Please enlighten us to what Rewardng Combat is since the only thing I see google bringing up is TERA's "rewarding combat" system which doesnt even explain how its rewarding or even unique.

Sorry champ but played some of the best MMO's, in their prime, and even in their waning moments. Id consider DAOC a good mmorpg. Let me guess you would consider WOW a good rpg?

TERA has been compared to FFXIV. So unfortunately, it's simply not going to do well in this market.

That's just how it is.

Played Tera, nothing special. Combat is extremely clunky and unresponsive. There's nothing new or fresh about this game.

Vindictus is better in the combat department, too.

tera plays the same as so many other generic korean MMO's, seems you are seriously misinformed if you think TERA is bringing something new to the table

Please enlighten me as to how you are even remotely qualified to make the observation/assumption you made? I mean, aside from the whole freedom of the internet, freedom to speech/opinion bullshit

Bioware said the exact same thing about The Old Republic, and look at what a failure that game is.
