Game was/is awesome in graphic and pretty good in character customization.
Combat is abit slowpaced I gotta say, though I only tried berzerker so far, - I mean while using a skill you have to w8 untill that skill is completely made b4 you can start with the next, makes it harder to make a successfull combo like you can in vindictus or dragon nest.

And traveling between citys (the horseride) feels like it taking forever. First time was fcking awesome though, but 2nd not so much.

However I gotta say, you have to make a berzerker, reali easy and high damage tank.

The first 20 levels are atrocious, and a really terrible portion of the game. They really need to fix that, or the game is going to do even worse here than it did in Korea.

Im lvl 18 I think, took me like 6 hours maybe, so overall it was quite fast. Played much worse where you get quest to kill 100+ monsters, just grinding grinding and grinding.
In tera the most amount of monsters I had to kill in one place was 48 I think, however they all died in one hit, and with a aoe skill you kill 10 at the time.

Other than that I think the game moves on smoothly.
And you get mount at lvl 11 <- is great. Most games is like lv 30 or so.

Is it possible Tera has made leveling TOO easy/fast? Really does sound like it to me...

Leveling is really fast and you could probably do 1-58/60 depending on what the level cap is at release in a week or less.



The whole point of Tera in NA is for it to be Westernized, otherwise you'll have people QQing about leveling being a grindy.

Westernized yes, but a week seems very easy. Overly westernized, maybe.

wow 6 hours to get to lvl 18. even noobs have to grind? thats a sad game.

I would rather have the leveling be relatively quick so I can make multiple characters without it being some great under taking. Not to mention how many good mmo's are already out that take more than a week to hit max level?

Several of my friends got beta keys for this weekend, so I won't be on alone. This weekend will be a good test of whether I will really want to play or not.
