Personally I feel TERA is WAY too clunky, the combat system could have been good, but due to being locked in animations 90% of the time, it's just shit.

Well, just got done playing the Beta for a few hours. While I can't say it's the "best MMO ever," it definitely has my pre-order. Still thinking I am more looking forward to GW2, but I'll def have fun with Tera.

And I see a lot of overzealous hate in this thread. Are you all forgetting how terrible the MMO market is today? Compared to just about everything else, Tera is a huge improvement.

Guild Wars 2 actually equals both PvP and PvE. They're doing their best to make PvP eSport, make it as fun and balanced as possible.

and the PvE part with a dynamic world changing all the time, personal stories, mini games and the most beautiful world created makes it probably the best game coming in history

Well, was generally excluding GW2 from that generalization (see above post), but generally speaking, PvE is what keeps most MMOs alive, unless PvP is done (hopefully) right like in GW2.



Have a console (irrelevant?). Haven't played an MMO in years. I don't like getting milked for shitty games. Difference is, Tera actually feels somewhat fun to play (for as far as I've played, at least), whereas other MMOs are just loot grinds right off the bat.
