How time intensive is this game? Im looking for something new to play and this kinda gets my interest. But I dont have like 6-10 hours at a time to devote to a game anymore. Would i still be able to enjoy the game if i could only cassually play maybe 1-3hours every other day or so? Any advice or comments about the game are greatly appreciated

Kinda same as wow... But the fighting is much better.

If you only play 1-3 hours a day it'll take you a while to get to 60, but that's not a reason not to play. You'll probably enjoy it.

If you are gonna play so little, I suggest you roll Lancer (tank) so you can pretty much instant queue for dungeons. DPS and healer get much longer queue time - you wouldn't want a 1-2 hour queue.

Last MMO i played was FFXI but i played from NA release to 2008. Was top level and all that good stuff but was super devoted.
How much is the monthly p2p? Im sure i could google it but seems like people here are friendly :C
What server should i look into joining as well? Is there guilds or anything? While i dont mind leveling solo i hate not having a guild to chat with in game.

I played there free online beta but it didnt really sell me on the game.

Before buying it download the game and try the full 1 week lvl 23 max beta. You get to do an instance at 19-20 and it will sell you on it lol.

Healer's queue aren't so bad, and I gota say healing is quite fun in this game.

P2P is 15$ a month or something, but you can buy scrolls ingame that are used for 1 month of playing time, sell bellow 2000 gold... 2000gold is easy to get for real, I level 1-60 and I had 9000 gold spare (but I never spent money for item while leveling(.

PVP server Valley of titans (most populated)
PVE I dont know, get one with "High" people online.

Yes join a guild, try to join one that looks like it will help you level and do instances. You can see all the guild, their rank, and description of what they focus on - in game.

I was super hyped for this game, but not so much anymore. I still like it, but I bet you there is a game that will come out and beat this one hands down (with the same mechanic / true action combat).

Still worth a try, just to see what the future of online gaming will be like... Tab targeting is over done and crap compared to this.

do you speak korean? i thought TERA only has korean servers..which i'm currently playing in.

but anyways, TERA imo is much more fun than WoW. At least it's more appealing graphically.

Healers are fun to play but controls can be bit difficult for beginners. It's not like in WoW where you can just click on players side bars and heal. you actually have to activate the spell and point towards a player than click heal again, etc

I like this game much better than WoW. WoW was for kids, this isn't.

tera's been out for couple of years in korea..just wasn't aware they released it in other regions too

so i can't speak for english servers..in korean server there's bunch of players on at all times looking for parties for dungeons, etc; so basically you are never alone..you can play alone if you want lol
