How popular is the game at the moment? Is there any lacking of people? If were to join today would I have fun? (Huge avid fan of MMORPGs and the game looks amazing, but feeling like I am alone in the world is not fun to me. The rest I am sure to adjust to.

Its kind of a niche game, it isn't quite as popular as SWTOR and Diablo 3. If you play on one of the most populated servers though, you should be fine. The most populated server right now in NA Tera is probably Valley of Titans (PvP server). You could play on one of the PvE servers if you wanted, but I doubt it'll be quite as populated.

but VoT is full of bads. Go to Basilisk Crag. it's population is a litttle lower than VoT, but i think its a better server.

I play on VOT and there is quite a few 60s that run around low level zones ganking, other than that its a pretty friendly server. but if your having problems with getting ganked there is a Channel thing and you can go to a different channel so its like a different instance of the area.

Yeah, I've been leveling up a slayer and there's a few gankers but it isn't that bad at all. And Valley of Titans is probably the only server I can see being continuously well populated compared to other servers months down the road.

I have no problems with gankers in game, as I am a 2 time Glad in Warcraft (I know I know... lolwow) so I prefer the pvp to be active, while still having a decent community in PvE.

Looks like I will pick the game up in the next few days and join VoT. Thanks on the input guys.

Can you explain the differences of servers to me in your opinions? Hopefully from a logical standpoint, while trying to remove as much bias as possible.

Only real differences are pve vs pvp servers and server populations/how progressed people are overall in pve. The higher server populations obviously have better economy and generally better progression.

So do you think VoT is logically the best way to go then? Or BC?
