That item is soulbound and isn't tradeable. The best un-soulbound item you can get for ninja is the masamune (t12) katana.

Again though, I highly suggest you stay away from tops unless you're potting the character until it's maxed. If you were also to pot a character, I'd also advise against ninja as it's a niche class that's not really too good at anything.

It really depends on your playstyle and whether or not you have a good pet. IMO, getting a good pet should be the top priority, as pets last forever and with one, you can do things that'd otherwise be impossible. In general though:

For most beginners, the easiest class to get soulbound with is the wizard. Highest damage out of the staff characters and the ability does a ton of damage.
Melee characters are good once you've gotten a stable pet with healing up and you know the enemies well enough to know when to charge in and when not to.
Bow characters are a good combination and are usually the best at clearing godlands - the ability to do endgame content relies on getting the untiered bows (esp doom bow).

No matter what you choose, the most important thing is to learn more of the game by playing and dying.
