i got a steam account and i fail at purchasing gold. can someone help me out?

Add money to steam wallet

i already did, got bugs at steam but it looks like the steam overlay isnt working cuz i cant tab out of the game to the overlay

e.: so its a steam problem not a game problem?

I always just buy a card and redeem the code.
Never had any trouble.

what do you mean? buy a card?
if i click the amount of gold i want and enter "buy now" it freezes and i cant choose anything

i had the same problem trying to buy gold on steam. ended up just logging on to the browser ver and buying it there

solved it on my own

was a java problem. i had hardware acceleration off (thanks to youtube) so steam overlay didnt work.
