Getting life via the end game dungeons is extremely tough if you don't know what you are doing/ don't understand the basics of the game.
At your point in the game abyss of demons will be way to tough for you. Most of the mobs in abyss will 2-3 shot you, on top of moving extremely fast and nearly impossible to dodge if you are a newb with no maxed stats due to the lava and sheer size of the area. Cheeya is right about it being the fastest/easiest way for someone that has played for a short time, partially maxed, and know the game pretty well to get life... but you need to get your basics down with at least your speed and defense maxed first before you can even consider doing it (oh, and a maxed uncommon pet really would help you too).
The way I made my start was I bought 2 character slots (you can also use 2 seperate accounts if you do not want to spend your hard-earned money to greedy asshats like kabam). I've done it in 2 different manners, and both work flawlessly when you learn how to dodge well. This is the original way that I did it and it works for people at all skill levels.
1) Have 2 characters. Character A and Character B.
Character B will be the character that YOU DO NOT TOUCH UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE until you fully max his speed, defense, dexterity, attack (listed in order of importance). Character B will be the character you are maxing out so you can start doing abyss of demons/ some of the harder dungeons and events that give you awesome drops.
Character A is what you call a "Throw-away". This character will remain unmaxed (0/8) with only cheap gear investments. Tier 8 wep/armor and t4 rings/abilties will be fine and most people will give it to you free or drop it on the ground. Tier 10 armor/weapons and tier 4 rings/abiltiies are ideal (don't waste your hard earned pots on anything above t10. If you get t11 gear either save it for your character B or sell it for more potions to help max character B out) Character A will be set up how I outlined for you. An ideal character A would be necromancer or priest for survivability, which is top priority in this game. You can create an archer, huntress, or wizard if you are comfortable enough with the game to only use HP potions to keep yourself alive. What you do is run through godlands (idealy with a small group) and kill as many Gods as you possibly can. You will need to hit each god at least a few times to have a chance at a potion drop. Every time you get 1-3 potions (don't wait until your inventory is full, you will end up dying from time to time and lose everything you spent all that time farming) and either put them in your stash until you can move them to character B or move them to character B immediately and drink them. Make sure that while you are farming for potions you are looking for t8-t10 wep/armor and T3/T4 rings/abilities you can use for back up gear for when your throwaway dies (WHICH WILL HAPPEN, TRUST ME!). Plan ahead so when you do die it will take you a whole 15 mins to get back up to level 20 and to gear yourself. Do the occassional sprite world while farming godlands for easy dex pots/possibility of wine cellar incantations (worth a life pot or two a piece) and you will quickly hit 4/8 with your character B.
Hope it helps!
If you need some basic starter gear to get you going feel free to PM me. I will give you a couple sets for your character A and I should have a set for nearly every class for your character B.
^^ safest way to do it for sure! God I dont miss those days what so ever though! Cant even begin to describe the frustration when I thought "Oh Im 3/8 I should be goood..... FUCK I DIED"
