It was decent for range back before pets came around and the doku was introduced, since nin was a really suicidal class. Now it's not really a viable option. Doku has more than enough range and does a shit ton more damage. It's really just a novelty item that has been re-introduced from the past.

Essentially useless just like the rest of the drops from the lair of draconis -.- what a waste of time. Not to mention the dungeon is dangerous as fuck

The ninja star from there is pretty op. That 4 second paralyze makes the whole dungeon worth while imo. I can also see the heavy armor being useful to up one's dps a crowded public dungeon like a trench or something, and the robe paired with a candy ring for rushing wcs. The leather is pretty useless though imo. If they had added another useful stat to it like +5 speed or something then yes maybe.

I mean sure they have some slight uses but I wouldnt be sacrificing an inventory space for the off chance I MAY use one of the armors for like 30 seconds. I agree that star is pretty nice though but its about the only thing that is actually useful outside of very specific situations.

I agree. I am not really a fan of having tons of items cluttering up my inventory. I'd rather just use a nile or pyra for more dps and be a lot safer. Some people switch gear on bosses, but I find that to be quite a hassle. I am lazy as fuck and I probably would forget to switch my items back, and that could potentially end up fatal. It's just a different type of play style. I know some people will like that new melee armor for the extra dex for sure.

There is no heavy armor class that needs a temp dps buff to get sb though.

Never said for sb. Since everyone uses the same gear, people like to use ub dex rings to one up their dps. It's like 8% damage to qualify for sb at public trenches? I don't remember the exact number. Something around there. If everyone is doing the same damage with the same gear it could potentially increase your chances to get loot if you use an item with more dex since public thessals basically instantly explode. Some people also like to use dex rings at solo bosses to kill them faster, so I can see this armor being useful for people who are really into that.

The only character I carry anything on is my knight and I carry aclaim, csword and dblade. I guess some people will find the armor useful but the vast majority will consider it useless
