So i will be the first to admit i am not the best at this game, The farthest i have made it is a 5/8 sorcerer. bought the defense pots farmed the rest.
Areas i feel comfortable going solo
godlands, normally head there around lvl 14
Spider/snake portal
Sprite portals
Undead layer
Mad lab
Haunted cemetery
Areas i will go but take extremely slow
Abyss
These are the dungeons i can complete but here is my question
Recently i made a warrior with fairly good gear, T10 sword, T11 armor, T5 hat, and life ring. i maybe had him lvl 20 for 10-15 minutes before he died in godlands. And i was wondering is a knight Worth making?
My melee experience is pretty bad so far, can't keep any of them alive currently but with the extra 20 def i was thinking i may be able to play a knight. Is a knight a noob friendly class?
I got a pet that heals 22 life.
Don't get too down on yourself. Everyone dies, the important part is that you learn from it, and you seem to be doing a great job at that. 5/8 self farmed is pretty good.

As for your question, it really depends on your play style. I would consider them noob friendly, although nothing is invincible. I personally do not like them, but I like a lot of classes that aren't so popular. Do you have a pet that also heals mp? That's pretty crucial on a knight. An extra couple of stuns could save your life.
Warrior with speedy helm is actually pretty good, just takes a bit to learn how to control it and not speed right to your death.

pally > warrior > knight
Lol. This is the same order I like my melee as well.
