wat should ib e trying to do

get to level 20, head to the middle of the map for more difficult monsters (gods) and better drops (potions) to trade for better gear or other potions. make friends. have fun.

lvl 20 hard lol I keep dieing at 5-6

M8 don't go to "Middle of the map" yet. Stick to the forest, then go to the lighter woodland looking place and some desert shit. Kill all the little bastards, learn what your range is, how to dodge.
When you are comfortable, move to the "Middle of the map" to where the black spots start to show up, and youl see some new creatures that are VERY strong since you are not potted (pots are permanent on the character, meaning they last as long as your character does). Learn to dodge them, see what they do. Once you are comfortable start killing them more instead of focusing on dodging, get some pots and pot up, or trade for gear with the potions.

Look for eggs and hatch them in pet yard, focus on one with healing as the first. It wont heal much at first, but will do a little. Get health pots often, use your nexus key often (f5 but default, should rebind it).

/e And don't read the beginners guide sticky, shit is out of date and not much info.

Yea in the stacks. I assume you can still swap out shit items for potions on the ground too.

Also you should watch some NPE videos on youtube. Usually "good" players starting over on a self-found themed character. Will give you a good idea.
