Just started playing this game because I saw this forum. I was able to play it without even registering and then I had to register after getting to level 4 with a caster of some sort.
Can anyone please explain the basics of the game to me; like the goal and the maximum level and the wep tier system. Thanks!

AHH, its a die once type of game.. well I regret going into the castle and storming it.. died pretty quickly. well that was a one half an hour hahaa

lvl 20 is max
check classes on the wiki
each class has an average stat range at lvl 20
u can increase ur stats to cap by using stat potions
stats potions are obtained by killing gods in godland or running specific dungeons
get a pet
get eggs to get a pet
pay alot money to lvl ur pet or play alot to lvl ur pet... both amounts are incredibly high ^^
stick with ranged class at first
get used to game and game mechanics
recognize that previous hint does not prevent u from dying to lag
reduce lag by playing in flash projector, setting quality to "low" and toggling hardware acceleration on/off
and so on...

ehm... try to play off center from now on and use camera rotation
it might feel uncomfortable at first, but u'll get used to it
and dont forget to set ur keys... setting nexus hotkey is most important

getting loot is what might bother u most at first
ur first goal is to get some t8 weapons and t9 armors
to get them u have to kill gods in godlands (killing ents [quest till lvl 15 or so] and looting cyclops chest [quest] might get u the gear to stay alive in glands a bit)
u'll die doing so ^^
save up loot from t8/t9 above and stat pots
dont use stats pots
better use stat pots at first to get better gear
save up stats pots until u can pot up a char to at least max def (usually 25)
use mule accounts to do so

trade a lot.. check realmeye
its easy to get wealth by trading if u know how to

should be enough for now...

Thanks pal! so I wasnt in abd shape when I died at level 12. Only had like T4 armor and T3 wep.

anybody dies alot at first.. and many do even later
just dont go to godlands before lvl 20
do the quests and try to get loot and lvl up to 20
once u hit 20, go to godlands (the black rock ground)
try to kill something at ur own... back up and repeat (learn the attack patterns... like entgods are shooting in ur running way, while medusas are easily circleable and so on..)
kind players are dropping their crap loot in gland (the mentioned t8/t9 equips)
so check brown bags in gland

yea i keep neglecting my health bar and dye at stupid occasions. had some nice lootz

Rotmg can be very mean, beware the deathstreaks!

and as a new player i'd say if you see your quest has become Eye of the Dragon, Avatar of the Lost King, Cube God, Skull Shrine, Ghost Ship, stay away!

Update: Got my first char to level 20. Sadly he only has T3 weapon, T1 ability, T5 armor, T1 ring.. where the heck do I get drops??.. I can't deal with bigger mobs, and I am not going to try my luck on gods... haha
