let me first off say this is something that is an annoyance to me, and not at all important to the game, but if i can fix it it will save me countless QQs.
i play on a summer '12 Macbook Pro. using trackpad to aim/shoot. (never managed to get the hang of the mouse)
as ive been playing this way for over a year i have no issues with anything, but recently i switched to Flash projector instead of safari (month or 2 ago) or the saftey/security/stability and i love it. however, when I'm playing on flash projector and aiming with say index finger and holding down my trackpad with my middle finger all moves i make to aim count as 2 finger scroll which causes my mini map to be constantly fluctuating in size.
the way i see it, i have a few options
i can A: turn off 2 finger scroll when i get onto realm and be annoyed for all web browsing ever (since i always have rotmg in the background)
B: turn off scroll - to - zoom in rotmg (is this possible? i always have zoomed with +/- keys so i wont miss the feature at all.)
C: discover a program that temporarily overrides the scroll on certain applications. such as a program manages what applications that are running have multi-touch capabilities.(again, not sure if anything like this exists.)
i always seem to make wordy posts :/ anyway. hope anyone understands what im getting at or can think of a solution.
