I would say wizzy for starters. Really anything ranged class works, but you can build a shitty cheap wizzy like 3/8 (def/dex/spd), throw old tops on it + mnova, and learn to tomb with that. So if it dies you won't feel bad if it rips. Wizzy is also one of the easier ones to get sb in fucked up pub tombs. Just spell bomb everything if they all are awake.

Where is the rogue at? best tomber :), if your in a group, all melee are good, and huntress/archers are good with dbow.

you really need to change the choices ....

Mistic is good because it has a staff with fast projectile shots and it can save yourself and guild mates of used efficiently.

Biggest problem I see here...No class is really better when you starting out tombs. I recommend you watch some videos on the Tubes. Learn the phase's of each boss.

Sure, range gives you more range and more safety right? That wont teach you anything. You probably wont even get soulbound if you stay at range. Melee puts you in the fray and teaches you how to deal with the phases, but not without death or missing soulbound.

My favorite has always been knight.

I'm a fan of warrior/knight and rogue.

imo for beginners all classes are the same if you screw up, you screw up..
