it seems i never get to try the game before i died so i need to know which is best

and what i should do so i don't die 100% of the times and get at least a chance to try all those tings ingame

It really depends on your play style, but I'd definitely go with a ranged class. Imo for all around, I'd go for a wizzy or archer.

is it a most to have max all with pots?

if u want to be able to participate in all the dungeons and shit, id atleast go 6/8

6/8 is definitely nice, but I would suggest he tones that back to 4/8 until he gets better at the game.

Att/Def/Spd/Dex.

Those are what you could call the core stats. Vit and Wis are definitely nice to have, but not necessary for events or dungeon diving.

if i were you, i wouldnt max any characters until i learn how to dodge missles in godlands and events, dodging is the most vital thing in the game, after you learn how to survive, try one melee and one of wiz/archer duo. some people are just melee people, its like cat/dog person and then you can decide what class to play but wizard is pretty good for almost everything if not everything start with him
