But remember, dont use the stat pots, until you are sure that is the char u wanna stick with and u dont want to re-roll.

I'm very new as well, i started just a week ago or so, but u get the hang of stuff fast..just dont get mad when u get a char geared up and to lvl 20 and then u die and lose it all, its happened quite a few times to me now.

when u first create your char(make sure ur registered, and ur not logged on as a guest when you press play, on the next screen on the upper middle section it will show a random name and below that is where u click to change it, although if u want to change it more then once it will cost u 1000 gold

best class?

All can be good, but for a beginner this is the usual recommendations in some kind of approximate order of ease to learn the game with.

1 - Priest or Wizard
2 - Necro
3 - Sorc
4 - Archer

After learning, play around and try out all the classes. Melee(Warrior, Knight, Paladin) can be harder to learn, but power houses when you have some experience.
