When i started I chose USEast. After a while I realized West is the trading spot, but does everyone actually play on a particular server? I guess being in a guild is pointless if you end up playing on a different server than everyone else in your guild (or no?).

I would say find a guild and play where they play. This game is so much more fun when you're playing with friends.

Not to mention all the WCs and Dungeons.
