I wish I'd started started this thread the first day I started playing RotMG, but I didn't plan on sticking with it like I have.
I'll post a few screenshots (one is a repost) to give you a feel for where I'm at in the game. I really wish I'd started playing this game when it first came out, but I'm sure I'll stick around to see future updates (especially the fame revamp).

First blue bag (don't think it was my first level 20 thougn - I feel like I've died on the Wizard several times):


Current progression (I plan on unlocking all of the characters and getting my blue star before I decide on a farming class to stick with; The Warrior seems almost impossible without already having good gear for him... I'm interested in figuring out how to play melee though, and I'll be playing the Knight next, so we'll see what happens):



So far I haven't really successfully muled anything. I always keep things I find that will help the next class I choose to play. I traded the speed potion I had for three items (ended up losing them to death, but I know they helped quite a bit).


Will post screenshots and random tl;drs from time to time. Spam away.

Got to level 20 just minutes before facing Oryx.


Paladin unlocked:


Gonna play the Rogue though. Unlock two classes.


So I'm on my Rogue... Level 3. Teleport to a level 17 Rogue and help him take down a drake. After we kill it, he trades with me and offers a free t7 (I think) medium armor. He clicks "accept."
I say "wow"
and then go to say "ty"
Hitting my Enter key didn't register so I pressed "t" first, which just so happens to be my Nexus hotkey.

I know that feel...Not with the item thing but typing and not hitting enter the nenxusing.

Just found my second potion. Potion of Attack. Teleported to some random person. Ended up behind a wall that had a hole in it where I could shoot from. Went invisible, ran out, got the loot, and teleported to the Nexus.
Level 20 on my Rogue, btw. Just got there a few minutes ago.


e: Just got a Potion of Defense as well. Not sure if I'm gonna use it on my Rogue (I used the Attack).


Traded that Defense Potion for a t8 dagger, t4 cloak, and t9 armor. So I upgraded three pieces of gear.

Also, I just teleported to Godlands and the first monster I helped kill dropped my first blue bag ever.

I would personally save all of your potions until you're better versed with the game and have enough to max Defence and Speed (At the least).

My Rogue just died and got me 70 fame. Was in the Godlands and killed some monsetr and a demon portal(?) popped up. Went in with two other people and told them I'd never been there before. They said to put on stealth and run through it all. I tried and failed miserably. Was fun. Here's where I am now:



Not sure what I'm going to make next.

agree save the potions, get 2 weeks game experience (dungeon by dungeon, boss by boss)
