Yeah I was just browsing the forums and I seen Realm of the Mad God. So I googld it, made account, went through trial and started to play.

So I died and seen I can't die again or else all of my shit goes bye bye so that sucks lol.

So I'm basically just looking for some info that goes into more detail about beginning than the sticky note does.
Just curious to like if there is a vendor where I can sell the random gear I pick up at.
If there is an easier way to loot corpse than clicking over it and dragging it to my inventory because I usually get hit a shit ton while doing this.
Also if there are any main quests to do because I just ran around in the green area killing random shit until I met this one monster and I got one shotted and died for the first time..lol

1. No there is no vendor. There is no cash of any sorts. The "Gold(AKA RG)" that is up top is sold by Kabam for real moneys.
2. You can double click loot to put it in inventory.
3. The quests are more to help out people leveling (They give bonus xp). You probably ran up to godlands or ran into an event and got killed.

How does on go about getting new gear? Do they just use fg I take it?
Also would you mind going into detail about the stat potions or whatever? I'd appreciate it thank you

Stat potions are the base currency of this game
Common ratio for stat pots are
Def 1:1 Def (yay)

Speed 4:1 Def (can be bought/sold 1:3 with effort)
Dexterity 3:1 Def
Attack 2:1 Def
Wisdom 2:1 Def
Vitality 1:1.5 Def
Mana 1:2-3 Def
Life 1:5-6 Def

Stat pots permanently add that stat to your character. 1 Per potion. Mana/Life add 5 each the stat. Stats have individual caps that change based on character.
When you die, you lose stats and gear.

Gear is generally traded for other gear of same value, or potions of same value.

Another question, how do I know where I am? Idk how to get back to the one place where I have my vault.

You can go into your options (O by default (that is o not zero)) and change your key called the "Nexus key" (Nexus is the town basically, the safe zone) It is in the "Hot Keys" section and the setting is called "Escape To Nexus". It is your life saving button, if you get in trouble smash it like crazy. But I think the Default key is F5 and/or Insert

I recommend you change your use/buy potion keys and turn off buy potion contextual click (I think its called that)
I also recommend you play around with Camera Rotation and Off Center. This will help you MUCH if you really get into the game.
