Oh ya I didnt want to mention it in my original post to give away the surprise, but making one slight alteration to the goals.
Duoing dungeons as long as its just us in there will be good enough to cross it off the list. It would be different if one of us was melee and the other ranged, but we're two ranged classes so its not changing the difficulty much at all.
Honestly tho most of the dungeons will still be solo due to us having different schedules. The game plan is to level together tonight, but after that a lot of the playing we'll be split and we'll play together when we can.
I considered doing the same thing for items, like if we are both together when an item drops we can trade it between us. But that takes a lot of fun away from looking into the bag yourself and pulling out something you can use. So still no trading, even between us.
