You really don't need to go tops dude if you're only going to mess with Limon and Godlands.

Archon, Snake or Mithril shield, Veng Armor, and a Para HP or Def will suit this build just fine.

It will be a fraction of the cost too.

Hmmm, In that case. Maybe I should rep my Ogmur and Acclaim to get max potted faster?

Would you recommend tops for an eventing knight?

I try to hit every skull/cube/pent that I see and often get dangerously close to death even with a 5/8 knight...is it worth upgrading to a.s.s. over archon and ogmur/col over mith for eventing?

I would hang onto them myself.

I would just use lessor gear for the build.

Acclaim is a better choice in this instance and Dblade would be even more desirable. Ass is nice to have, but it really doesn't provide much unless you're tinkering with high defense mobs/events.

And use a col if you're going to hug shutfun events.

That's if you decide to go the more expensive route.

If you do decide to take piddy's advice I'd be willing to work something out with my Acclaim :)

simple always showing why hes simple

colo > ogmurs.

pretty much only used ogmurs for o1 sometimes in tomb and a few other things.. its alot less info to say what you should use ogmurs for then explaining what you should use colo for.

if theres more then one knight i use whatever hes not using unless its o2 and o1. if its a easy dungeon and theres 2 or more people i sometimes use ogmurs.

Ogmur is good for a really packed trench, or o1. Or if you are just feeling cocky and wanna bad ass it.

U guys are way off. Ogmur is something you DON'T want to use for "packed" areas. You're just giving away time that you could use to get more hits on the boss... aka better loot chance. This is the only time Col is good "packed" areas.
Good luck with making your enemy 0 defense and a mage/archer hitting full potential.

Simpleforce helps with math for FG. LMK.

No one needs your help, go back and troll the Religious area.
I said Ogmur is good for a packed Trench, because you can do MORE Damage on Thessl. You do know Ogmur has more damage than Colo?

I find you even saying anything good about Ogmur amazingly funny, seeing as your the whole anti deep "can't go deep on a knight that's stupid" kid.

For godlands/sprite you won't really need to use your shield at all. Just get a csword and fuck shit up (this should be at about 3-4 DEF). Focus on maxing your stats. If you really want to buy a shield (beyond golden shield or snake shield) just for godlands/Limon, get Ogmur, as the additional DEF and HP will help.

In general, though, Colossus all the way. Stun is better at saving your ass on the bosses that matter, and as previously stated, armor break allows other people to get a lot more damage in (which is bad if you're trying to be the only person in the room to do enough damage to get a boss's guaranteed pot drop).
