Woke up early, happy, and chipper. Had a small breakfast and did my workout making myself feel extremely good. Then I went and sat down with my cats on my futon and booted up Battlefield 3; froze on the load screen. "Oh well it does that some times". Loaded it back up and it froze again. "Well that's just shitty luck I guess. Third time is the charm though" and it was.

Figured I would try to go for the scavenger medal today. Got into the game and we where loosing, "Guess I'll just stay until next round." Load into the game and instantly start Rubber Banding "Oh it'll pass in a second game must still be loading." 3 minutes later I'm still Rubber Banding and getting shot a good 10+ feet around corners. At this point I'm pretty upset.

I spawn in for the last time and try to Cap one of the Flags before the game is over; Rubber Banding the whole way there. I get to the flag and I instantly get shot by someone with the SAW who found a way to glitch out of the map.

"Nope" I turned the Xbox off and sat there a little while before coming here to type it out.

Say what you want, Umad, lol newb, what have you.

I'm done with this game for a while and since a new battlefield game wont be coming out this year I might just be done with battlefield for a long time.

The funny part is if I would have just stayed I would have won.

also my xbox has been freezing a lot lately not only in bf3 ;/

I can play Skyrim for 8 hours straight no problem, but if a match lasts longer than 40 minutes I better prepare my butthole. Not to mention 1/2 the freezes are on the load screens.

Mines been freezing more than usual too lately..
And i'm aware of this rubber banding... my internets been so fucking garbage lately, i can't even get a single fucking game in.
You use wireless internet too right? i'm starting to think it's got something to do with the cold weather... because mines been properly fucked for a month now, and really it's been fucked since november when it got cold.

It has something to do with BF3 servers. When I do a speed test my internet is fine during the Rubber Banding; I know when my shit is being bogged down because it's completely different.. If you look at the Forums on Battlelog other people have the problem too.

This game is just so "broken" it isn't even funny. Simple shit like clipping half your body into the wall makes me wonder if they actually spent time on this game. How easy would that have been to fix before the game came out. Did they not see this being a problem?

In the world there are assholes... and if assholes wanna abuse things I.E clipping or OP weapons, the good guys just have to deal with it.
.. that's the way i look at it.
Tbh i don't think clipping is game breaking... it can be annoying, but i don't find it that bad.

ps3 servers must be fine cus im not having any problems

It's not gamebreaking, but it's something they completely overlooked. Clipping your head over something is understandable to some extent; almost every FPS game does this. It's the fact you can put the lower half of your body through a wall. At least Call of Duty did it right with Prone Block.



The Rubber Banding doesn't happen all the time on Xbox, but when you're playing 6+ hours a day it happens enough.

I just don't see how they completely overlooked it in BF3.

At least we know it can be done on the Frostbite engine...
