They are turning the game into another COD franchise. It's pissing me off, these small maps, no tactics. All of aftermath is just run and gun.

Battlefield used to be original, but all they care about is money, so it keep turning into a game like cod more and more...

Yeah, it is not the same I agree. Some things are great and some things are complete and utter trash. I hate some of the add-ons that they did and that they even considered it to be Battlefield material, yet there are some great new features that I really enjoy. I hope that they listen to the fans more in the future.

I agree. Some of the game modes and stuff they have integrated into the game have been fantastic. But when they put in a crossbow, and call the achievement sticks and stones. They've fucking copied call of duty, and it pisses me off because
I buy the game because it is battlefield, not a little kid, call of duty run and gun piece of trash.

Compared to Battlefield 2 I think that BF3 is vastly different and many aspects. I also agree that there are numerous CoD similarities in bf3. Very unfortunate too as it was such a different type of game before. Nothing else really compared to BF2, some games came close. Half studying for finals and typing this so not really sure if it makes to much sense. Just going to stick with whatever I got though and post it.

Sure they do. Just like everything generally changes. Something I am well aware of too, as I have mentioned before, I have played both, and I have pointed out the major and minor differences and similarities. One game has better this and the other game has better that. Trust me I am in the same boat and fully understand, but pertaining to OP this is about how battlefield is going downhill, in his/her opinion. I like both, I just liked bf2 more because it required more skill in certain areas that I was fond of.

I bet if you go back to BF2 now you wouldn't feel the same way. Just like the people who preach COD4 is the best Call of Duty of all time. The game can only present itself so far; the community picks up the rest. If people take their nostalgia goggles off for one second they would see that what worked for those games was the combination of community and game. Right now BF3 presents a fairly decent game, but has one of the most shity communities around.
