he keeps getting message " session unavailable " etc etc...

anyone know why this is happening?

me and my roommate can join.


my friend doesnt have the b2k dlc. would this cause this? if so, so dumb.

if you are playing b2k he obviously cant join
or maybe you playing on premium server

If you are trying to get into a game that your friend does not have then it is impossible. He/She will need to to either buy that particular expansion and or purchase premium. Kind of like getting from D2 classic to D2 LOD with no LOD keys and no hacks.

i was in the lobby, not a game.

It used to be that if the lobby host had DLC that others didn't they couldn't join the lobby. Have him host it and see.
