The battlefield that I knew and loved is more than likely gone for good. I am fine with this as I have adapted to the more modern style of which EA and DICE have brought upon us. The new games are becoming a "one night stand" in my eyes. They make a game, then they make another right after, and another, etc. The game is becoming less skill based and more oriented to a casual gamer type. Everything is OP one minute then the next it is obsolete. People are constantly cycling through different weapons that have the best stats, as they should. Maybe I am nostalgic and need to move on, but this is my peaceful rant. I am disgraced that they even plan on developing a BF4 so soon. I feel like their biggest competitor has lead to their biggest demise.

What do you think? Think they should make a BF4 this fast? Should they wait and try to make a better Battlefield in general? One in which were they actually listen to the players rather than what the developers from DICE think is correct?

BF3 was a test for frost bite 2, just like grand theft auto 4 was a test to see if they could do a huge city, GTA5 is gonna be a mix of all the shit you could do in GTA3 and a huge city like GTA4.
When they release BF4 they'll know the limits of frost bite2 and they'll max that shit out, hopefully on the next gen consoles.
People shit on dice and ea so much, its not funny... but they've put a lot of time into BF3 to get the gun play to the point that its amazing, they've made the sounds insane and the gfx are insane.

Do i think they're rushing to get BF4 out? No, because if you follow the youtube cunts, then you'd know that they ALL are turning their backs on BF3, the game that made MOST of them YT famous, they're turning their backs on it, and starting new games, and saying BF3 is going out of style.. so whats DICE suppose to do.. they HAVE to release something else.

And why shouldn't they pump game after game after game out, even if it's garbage... people are still gonna buy it, just look at the COD fan boys... there's a prime example of why game companies can shit out crap games and kids will still gobble it up.

The opinion I posted is not emo criteria, yes it is a game, and yes it can be a great game. No doubt in my mind that their are some great things to do in Battlefield 3, but I fear for the future of what they will become. Why they should not do this is because they are going to push aside the old community that knows what Battlefield is and set in place a new one in which they dictate what they think the gamer will want rather than what the gamer would actually want thus loosing clientele. I can tell this is happening with BF3, it is obvious to anyone, just look at the game counts from now and from maybe 9 months ago.

None the less I do not plan on purchasing BF4 if they decide to do another BF3 remake. I would love to see a futuristic game style such as BF 2142 or even a flash back to an older time (WWI-WWII/Korea/etc). The answer you gave me is very basic and mediocre at best. Anyone could have posted something as simple as that, but it is not the point of my post or this thread in general. It is about what is in store for us if we so decide to purchase it. What do you think BF4 will be on or about regionally? Time wise? Maybe a USA vs China WWIII type warfare. Either way I am interested to see what is on the horizon.

Battlefield 3 prolly was beta for Bf4 :P..... If they havent fixed the netcode on frostbite 2 engine. Imma fokin punch newporg in da face.
