When I try to join a game after trying to install Punkbuster:

"Game disconnected: you were kicked by PunkBuster.
Stated reason: PunkBuster kicked player 'UsedSeat' (for 0 minutes) ...
RESTRICTION: Service Communication Failure: PnkBstrA.exe "

More than likely you will need to install and "un-installer" kit if you truly wanted to remove PB.

Have you tried checking if their are newer versions?

Search comp: PB/Check for updates/etc

Your anti-virus might be blocking one of the files in quarantine.

I tried, but even the uinstaller-program can't find anything related to pb :huh:

Try either of these two methods or both. They seemed to have success from it.

And i fixed it, dont know if it wil work for you but i went into the bf3 folder. 'D:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield3\'
And i clicked on 'pbsv.exe ' ticked 'Install/Re-Install PunkBustwe Service' then went though the process cam out succsessful and it now works fine.

Dont know if it wil work for anyone els, but it worked for me....

Glad it works for you now, recall you had this problem in the past and PB can be a real pain the ass sometimes.

Yea, don't underatdn why EA cant develop their own anti-cheat engine.
